"shoshotain" -> word of the day from eugene domingo... use in a sentence -> may mga tao talagang shoshotain..
from the show's talk about why there are people that are goodlooking, intelligent but are still single. like she said, there's really just some people that are meant to be courted / in a relationship (hence the word "shoshotain") and there are those that are just meant to be single.
just watched full time moms and their topic for today is single and fabulous. of course their guests are single ladies who are living fabulously. one of them is eugene whom i've liked since her movie kimi dora. she's really funny but it's only now that i know she's single. but she's happy, contented and loves her freedom. it's true that if you're single you get to do whatever things you want whenever, how ever, and wherever you want without thinking if your partner agrees or likes to join. of course like she said, there are of course times that you feel jealous of couples and wanted to experience having someone to call and be sweet. but being single doesn't mean being lonely in the same way that if one is in a relationship s/he is happy. i believe it depends on how the person handles things.
i can relate with their topic of loving singleness and living fabulously. i've learned to totally love singleness though i don't totally feel the fabulously part yet, hehe. i've come to fully embrace the idea of singleness and being happy with my freedom plus the fact that it's been a year that i actually haven't been atracted to or liked anyone. it seems so long since i've last crushed on someone as in really crush. wow! maybe partly it's because of my lack of interaction with the opposite sex, but the fact also remains that i didn't even attempted to really try to even find someone to like or something. for me that's something 'coz when i was younger (here i go again feeling old, hehe) i used to just find anyone to like/crush on just to have a motivation or inspiration. come to think of it, i can't remember when or how exactly did i come to accept and start living being single and happy. i've finally come to accept that maybe it's not yet my time to find my someone (not necessarily the one), but maybe i'm not yet really ready yet, even if i feel and think i'm ready to be in a relationship, i guess i truly am not yet.
with that, i focused with work and spending more time with friends. hence, last year had been my friendship year where i've got to enjoy times with my friends.
now, my goal this year is to make it my personal "Me" year. hoping to finally be able to do things i've long wanted but wasn't able to due to work and my katamaran. hehe.. first start was to resign from my 4 year job and help out in the family biz, hoping to find time for my list of to do things. :)
